Prita Uppal is founder and CEO of Hooked Media Group which is introducing a social gaming community for mobile devices that will be monetized via the sale of virtual currency. The Hooked Media founder became fascinated with the casual gaming industry while doing her MBA at Harvard. A year and a half ago, the Minnesota native moved to San Francisco to start what became Hooked Media (formerly known as Gamook), and the company later got $4.5-million in financing from US Venture Partners and Altos Ventures to launch YooMee Games.
Chandru is the head of product strategy, development, technology architecture and operations at Hooked Media Group. Chandru has pioneered technology for online social competitions, resulting in the establishment of the YooMee game platform. In addition to building and managing a top caliber team of software engineers, his major contributions are in business analytics, customer management, monetization, game mechanics and rich media delivery.
Prior to Hooked Media Group, he has over ten years of experience in a variety of areas including system architecture, commerce, data mining & organization, telecommunications, rich internet application technologies and consumer websites. Over these years he has lead and been actively involved in delivering mission-critical projects that have contributed significantly to product and revenue growth.
As VP of Advertising Sales at Hooked Media Group, Lee Blickstein is responsible for managing the company's sales and partner growth, expanding its relationships with advertisers and agencies, and overseeing the development of new strategic initiatives.
Lee came to Hooked from TACODA, where he served as Director, Eastern Advertising Sales. Following TACODA's acquisition by AOL/Time Warner in 2007, Lee directed national sales for the behavioral targeting group at AOL's Platform-A. With over 12 years of experience in online media, Lee previously held sales manager positions at CoolSavings, Inc., Conducive Corporation and TheStreet.com
